We had been taking some donkeys down to the local beach to show them off and to do rides for the children in exchange for donations to swell the funds, but we had to stop as the sand became far too hot for their feet and legs and the trek down and back had to be done in the worst heat of the day. Quite unfair on our longeared friends. |
