We are now at the end of January 2005. Our two new GVI volunteers Georgia and Lauren have been with us for just a month and have really got to grips with their work on the project. They both ride well and are good also at the training of the youngsters. All sorts of jobs around the finca are gradually getting completed thanks to them and also our other local volunteers Brian, Ken, Jenny, Michaela and young Kimmie.We have just completed two new stables and a playpen with electric fence for the youngsters... We have some new local volunteers about to join us here at the sanctuary which is wonderful news as even more jobs will be completed before the hot summer arrives! Next week sees two more GVI volunteers flying in to be part of this conservation project, they too will stay for 3 months. So, the Spring looks to be shaping up well and more updates will follow shortly. Stop Press. The Donkey riding Club is about to start! |
