Meet the Donkeys

Males.
Females.
Romero , El Quivir, Serrato.
Lola, Pepa, Rosario, Britannia, Marisma, Vulnerada, Vuela Pluma.

The Guys.
Romero.
Born in 1999. He has a wonderful character and seems to know exactly what you are thinking! He loves a cuddle, adores to roll in the dust and really takes care of his harem. In other words he is the BOSS.
El Quivir.
Born in 2002 Just 1 year old El Quivir will make a good semental a little later on. At the moment he is a young and fun loving rucho, growing fast and changing his coat gradually so that by Spring he too should be a lovely grey colour.
Serrato.
Our babe. Born in October 2003 he is the youngest of all and just delightful. If you have never felt the coat of a newborn donkey foal you must make an effort to try this out.! All legs and ears and full of curiosity he is learning everything very quickly from his mother Rosario.
The Girlies.
Lola.
Born in 1994 One of our originals, Lola is well used to being ridden out and has worked in the Cork Oak forests as well. We have put her to Romero and are hoping she will produce a babe that will be a good looker!
Pepa.
Born in 1990 A well established mother and Britannia at 6 months is her latest. She has been ridden in the past, so we will try her out soon.
Rosario.
Born in 1996 Great mother too. Has just produced Serrato. A confidant girlie.
Britannia.
We call her Britty and at 6 months, daughter of Pepa she is enjoying life to the full.
Marisma.
Born in 1997 The Lady of the group! A tall girlie and very cuddly, not at first, but now she knows us she just can’t get enough!
Vulnerada and Vuela Pluma.
Born in 2000 Two very tall girlies and in fact the last two from the military stud. They are half sisters, which you can see at a glance. They are inseparable, curious and very loving. Vulnerada is the mother of El Quivir. Their names begin with a V, which is quite significant, as it tells us that as the military used the letters of the alphabet, one letter each year to name any of their offspring, that these really are the end of the line.
