Marisma's Appeal

Marisma - With a poorly Hoof
This is a special appeal to help our lovely Marisma recover from a series of nasty operations on her hoof.

Marisma has over the last two years now been struggling with a split hoof. She produced her lovely foal Aurora just over two years ago and her hoof we thought had recovered, however it was not to be and the growth started all over again.

She has had now three operations to cut out the growth, ( melanoma) and hopefully, with all fingers crossed it does look as if this time it really will heal. We are desperate to get her well as she is particularly beautiful for the breed standard and we need for her produce at least one more foal if at all possible.
Needless to say she does receive all the TLC she needs and as we know time is a great healer.
At this moment in time Marisma is in need of the following items and maybe some of our readers will be able to help her recover by sending to Marisma any of the listed items.
 
Bandages, These are changed every two days! VETWRAP please
Sterile swabs. These are changed every two days.
Rolls of Gaffa tape. To keep the hoof dry and clean
Special medication. Cimetidine Marisma needs this twice every day.
Hoofmaker 3kg tub. This very special supplement for the hooves will encourage Marisma to make a strong growth on her hoof where it has been cut away.
