Volunteer Opportunities

We do offer residential volunteer placements here in Spain.

You do need to have equine experience to BHS 1 or real riding experience.

This is a breeding sanctuary for the almost extinct Andalucian Giant Donkeys and it is a special experience to be able to live with these beautiful animals.

There is young stock to train, adults to school, stallions to lunge.


You need to be a committed and focused person as safety is important.

We welcome veterinary students / mature students/those on sabbaticals.

We particularly welcome Pat Parelli students as this is how we work. There is the possibility to learn  Parelli level 1 during your stay.

There are births during the year and to be present is magical!

We look for a minimum 13 week stay so you and the donkeys get to know each other well. Longer stays are possible. You need to be fit and of a happy disposition.

Accommodation is selfcatering and comfortable. Non smoking.

We are now accepting placements starting June 2008.
